When both members of a couple are concerned about relationship issues, couples therapy can help improve communication and provide a safe environment for the couple to discuss important decisions. For some couples, therapy strengthens the relationship and results in more positive feelings and behaviors. The UNCG Psychology Clinic provides evidence-based approaches to couples therapy.
