Drs. Paul Silvia, Roger Beaty, Thomas Kwapil, and Michael Kane have received competitive funding from the Imagination Institute.

Their project will examine the neuroscience of individual differences in creative thought, using neuroimaging, cognitive tasks, personality factors, and intensive daily experience sampling in a community sample varying in creative accomplishment. Paul Silvia and Roger Beaty are Co-Principal Investigators on the project; Thomas Kwapil and Michael Kane are Co-Investigators.

Supported by the John Templeton Foundation, The Imagination Institute focuses on “the measurement, growth, and improvement of imagination across all sectors of society.”
