Casey L. May, a first year graduate student in the clinical psychology program, has published a paper in Psychological Trauma: Theory, Research, Practice, and Policy, a journal of the American Psychological Association. Casey works with Dr. Blair Wisco in the CoPE Lab and her research interests center on emotion regulation and processing in individuals diagnosed with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Originally from northwest Indiana, Casey graduated with a BS in Psychology and a BA in Law & Society from Purdue University in May, 2014. She moved to Greensboro to serve as Manager of the CoPE Lab while also working as a remote research assistant at the University of Kansas. Casey began to develop the paper while she was enrolled in a graduate seminar on Trauma and PTSD with Wisco last fall.
