The Association for Psychological Science (APS) has recognized Dr. Brittany Cassidy as a “Rising Star.” APS awards this distinction to early career candidates whose work has potentially broad impact via significant discoveries, methodological innovations, and/or empirical or theoretical contributions.
Brittany’s research program focuses on how younger and older adults form impressions of others. She uses multiple methods, including behavioral studies, eye-tracking, and brain imaging (fMRI), to understand the processes that underlie how people evaluate and remember others.
