UNCG has been awarded a $1 million ADVANCE grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). This award will 
support organizational and structural change strategies to promote gender equity, including the intersection of gender with social identities such as race and ethnicity.
Dr. Julie Mendez Smith, inaugural Chancellor’s Fellow for Campus Climate and Professor of Psychology, is a Co-Investigator on the grant award. More here.
