About the Fellowship
Rosemery Nelson-Gray was hired at UNCG in 1971 and established the APA-approved PHD program in Clinical Psychology 10 years later. Her accomplishments are numerous and varied, and she has been hailed as a “Trailblazer” in the field, an “Outstanding Mentor” and Research Excellence Professor” by the university, a “Dedicated Teacher and Clinical Supervisor” by the her students and the Department and a “Stalwart Community-Engaged Partner” by the Newcomer’s School.
