Dr. Sara Estle has been awarded the UNCG College of Arts and Sciences Teaching Excellence Award for non-tenure-track faculty. Estle teaches numerous courses in the department, including Principles of Learning and Intermediate Psychological Statistics. She also plays a major role in the department undergraduate advising system and serves as the primary advisor for pre-health psychology majors.
 
The criteria for this award include “outstanding success in facilitating student learning and interest, establishment and maintenance of high academic standards, substantial influence on the academic and professional pursuits of students, and consistent success in making complex ideas and concepts understandable and meaningful to students.”
The honor will be recognized with a monetary award.
