Our Services

The psychological services provided at the UNCG Psychology Clinic employ evidence-based treatment models. We seek to identify specific targets for intervention through collaboration with clients and families. You will find a variety of modalities represented within the Psychology Clinic, including, but not limited to, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), parent management training, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed treatments.

Evidence-based treatments are available for a wide variety of problems. Problems addressed include issues related to worry or anxiety, adjustment problems, interpersonal difficulties and conflicts, relationship and couple problems, depression, grief, traumatic experiences and PTSD, issues related to parenting, conduct and behavioral issues with children, academic and learning concerns, and ADHD. We welcome clients and families who endorse a variety of identities, including sexual and gender identities.
