Congratulations to Liz T. Gilbert, who successfully defended her doctoral dissertation, “The role of retrieval in intentional forgetting: Retrieve to rehearse and retrieve to forget” on May 8th, 2025. The members of her committee were Peter Delaney (chair), Michael Kane, Christopher Wahlheim, and Julie Mendez-Smith. Papers from her dissertation have been published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition, and in Memory.
