The CoPE Lab, led by Dr. Blair Wisco, has been on a productivity tear!
In a lab-wide effort, Dr. Wisco along with grad students Shae Nester, Cameron Pugach, Emily Heinlein, and Alejandra Lopez, published “Do Physiological Measures of Arousal Align with Self-Reported Physical Sensations? Using a Novel Ambulatory Method to Understand Momentary Interoceptive Accuracy and PTSD Symptoms” in the Journal of Trauma and Dissociation. In this paper, the lab examined the extent to which the valid perception of internal bodily states (i.e., interoceptive accuracy) is impacted by PTSD symptoms (e.g., flashbacks) while testing a novel ambulatory method for measuring interoceptive accuracy.
This paper reflects the CoPE Lab’s first “paper-in-a-day” effort. The paper-in-a-day model challenges researchers to increase their productivity while providing important opportunities to collaborate and engage in research as a team.
Alongside Dr. Wisco, graduate students Emily Heinlein and Cameron Pugach also recently published “Using Ecological Momentary Assessment to Measure Impulsivity Among Trauma-Exposed Adults” in the Journal of Psychopathology and Behavioral Assessment.
Congratulations, CoPE Lab!
