Dr. Rosemery Nelson-Gray was interviewed by the UNCG Special Collections and University Archives Division as part of an extensive recognition of UNCG’s 125th anniversary.
Nelson-Gray joined the faculty in 1971 and has had an illustrious and fascinating career. The video interview covers the Fulbright Scholarship that got her involved in research, her pioneering work on Behavior Therapy, her appointment as first Female President of the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, her extensive work serving UNCG and the community, and the challenges of doing all of this while raising a family and dealing with numerous landmark historical events, including the Civil Rights movement.
