Our Labs & Centers
Faculty in the department maintain active research labs and centers that focus on a variety of topics. Below are some of the collaborative labs that are conducting cutting-edge basic and applied research. Consult the “Faculty and Staff” tab above to access the full list of faculty members and their areas of research interest.

The DTRP lab is dedicated to improving the lives of people suffering from depression through innovative research and clinical services. Our research focuses on cognitive, affective, and motivational processes in depression and how short-term therapy can help people recover.
Led by Dr. Kari Eddington (Clinical)
Development, Culture, and Health Lab
At the Development, Culture, & Health Lab, we are interested in learning more about how children learn about the world, how their experiences shape their beliefs and attitudes, and how their knowledge and concepts change across ages.
Led by Dr. Jasmine DeJesus (Developmental)
Development & Understanding of Children’s Knowledge Lab
Our research helps us learn how children think about the world around them and our findings are relevant to educational policies and programs that are aimed at improving children’s lives.
