Adult Testing
We provide comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of cognitive, educational, emotional, and behavioral difficulties for adults. Some types of evaluations we provide include:
Full Psychological Evaluations
Each evaluation is tailored to address the referral question and current difficulties clients have when seeking services. Clients who are experiencing cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and/or interpersonal difficulties. This type of evaluation may benefit clients by gaining a better understanding of his/her/their mental health condition and it can also determine whether he/she/they require therapeutic services and/or academic accommodations. Note we do not offer full psychological evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder in adults. Examples of referral questions that are most appropriate for Full Psychological Evaluations are:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Personality Disorders
- Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
- Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Learning Disorders (LD/SLDs) for individuals with the following referral questions:
- Difficulties with Written Language (e.g., dysgraphia)
- Difficulties with Mathematical Skills and Calculation (e.g., dyscalculia)
- Difficulties with Reading Skills (e.g., dyslexia)
As of September 2024: We have a limited number of providers able to offer adult psychological evaluations this academic year. As such, we are only able to accept requests for UNCG students to be added to our waitlist, as current wait times already exceed 6 months. If you are an adult in the community seeking a psychological evaluation, please contact us in January or February 2025, as we will have more providers available again in Summer 2025!
