The Psychology Department is proud to debut a new Nursing and Family Needs Space (in Eberhart Room 369A). The Dr. Seuss-themed room will serve as a quiet and private area for nursing and/or pumping, and for other child care needs for faculty, staff, graduate students, and guests of the department. The room is furnished with a glider, fridge, microwave, and white noise machine.
Several of our faculty were involved in this effort, including Drs. Janet Boseovski, Julie Mendez, Dayna Touron, and our Department Head, Dr. Stuart Marcovitch. We are also grateful to Ms. Melanie Carter, Department Office Manager, for helping us to acquire supplies, and Mr. Raymond Carney, Building Manager, for graciously providing us a with a fresh, new coat of paint for the space.
Department members and visitors can see Ms. Melanie Carter in Psychology Reception (Eberhart Building, ground floor, Rm. 296) to obtain access to the space.
