Congratulations to Ayse Payir on winning a “Best Poster” Award at the annual Society for Cross-Cultural Research convention, which was held in Portland, Oregon, in February, 2016. The society unites scholars from a variety of disciplines who have common interests in advancing comparative research.
The title of Ayse’s presentation was “Turkish and Brazilian children’s gratitude and their connection to others: A cross-cultural comparison.” She was one of only two presenters to receive this honor.
Ayse is a graduate student in the developmental psychology program under the direction of Dr. Robert Guttentag.
