Dr. Blair Wisco has been named a “Rising Star” in Clinical Science by the Association for Psychological Science.
Wisco earned a PhD in clinical psychology at Yale University in 2011, after which she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the National Center for PTSD in Boston, MA. She joined the Department of Psychology as an Assistant Professor in 2013.
Wisco’s research program focuses on cognitive biases and emotion regulation in depression and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. She is invited to participate in a symposium next spring that will highlight “the most exciting young scholars whose cutting edge research will lead the field of clinical science over the coming decades.”
