As part of Women’s History Month, UNCG interviewed Dr. Rosemery Nelson-Gray, who has served the department and university for 49 years.
Nelson-Gray pursued psychological training during a time when women were grossly underrepresented in the field. A trailblazer in many respects, she developed our accredited doctoral program in clinical psychology, served as the first woman president of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, is the author of numerous articles and chapters, and has served as Faculty Mentor to over 75 graduate students and numerous undergraduate students.
